The image to the left is from a new series of work, Outlander. I have received quite a few favorable comments and have even sold some prints. This series is the first one that will be printed solely by Carr Imaging, of Albuquerque. As I have written previously, I have spent way to much time and a whole lot more money trying to get favorable prints off my Epson R1800, all to no avail. The printer I want is the new Epson 3880, and I would even settle for the 3800. But even if I were to acquire either one, in comes the learning curve, once more. Then there are the inks and the paper, as well as the constant updates. Not for me, anymore. Sure, I’ll do 8×10 open-edition prints in my office, but for the new limited edition series, it’s off to the pro for me.
